Selfless Service - an idiot's guide to:

Today's post is very short. I said I don't do selfless service, and this is very true. But if I did, this is how I would define it:

"Them as can do, has to do for them as can't. And someone has to speak up for them as has no voices." Granny Aching's comment to her grand-daughter in 'The Wee Free Men' by Terry Pratchett.

I know Baba speaks to us through many things, and inspiration is around us, everywhere. Sometimes I even manage to open my eyes and see it! If you are reading this, say a small word to Baba for Terry who is now suffering from Alzheimers. His books have brought me so much joy and he has such a quirky and fun mind, it is sad that this disease will slowly take it all away.

  1. Although the disease will take his mind, do not worry. He will also be cleansed of many sanskaras for the suffering he has to undergo. So, it is not all bad. Suffering is the best kind of work that you can do for God. Everybody has to do it, but you are fortunate if you get to do a lot of it! FYI, it is hard to read the text on here because of the light blue color. I had to highlight it to read. Remember Baba in everything that you do, and see him in everyone that you meet! I hope you are able to remember him more than I have!
